“Dr. Rad performed a total knee replacement on my mom in July. After performing a total Hip replacement in January. She was very scared and had put off both surgeries for way to long. She truly wish she had met him sooner and done it a long time ago. We are so grateful for the great job he did.
I found Dr Rad online and liked all the positive reviews. Since we didn’t know anyone that he had performed surgery for we decided to take the chance after meeting him seeing how professional and knowledgeable he was. Now I can say everything you read about Dr. Rad is true he is definitely one of the best orthopedic surgeons. We definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have surgery. Thanks Dr. Rad!” – A.H.
“Took my mom for her knee pain. Dr. Rad was very thorough, kind and sincerely invested in helping the patient which actually will benefit the patient rather than his pocket. Something that you can’t find nowadays when it comes to surgeons and doctors. The staff was just as nice and sufficient! Thank you doctor Rad!” – H.C.
“I had a total hip replacement performed by Dr. Rad at the end of September, 2018. I had been suffering intense pain for at least two years and finally turned to Dr. Rad for help. He was highly recommended by a number of people in the medical field.
Upon meeting him I could see he was confident and professional, with no small talk. He took a quick X-ray and told me right on the spot that my right hip needed to be replaced. He told me that it was completely up to me whether I wanted the surgery, and after I agreed to do it He immediately had his assistant set up a date for the surgery. Now, six months later, I feel like I’m 18 again and moving like a kid. It really pays to have a total pro working on you. I want that for my Corvette, so why would I settle for less with my body? If you have hip pain, please make an appointment with Dr. Rad. If Prince and Tom Petty had, they might be alive today!!!” – R.B.
“Dr. Rad was my specialist physician. He provided me with a quick diagnosis and came up with a plan of action with no time wasted. We had an orthoscopic procedure schedule for November but was moved to early September -which never happens- with his care and consideration of my condition.
He has been great on following up after the procedure and has given me great advice on making sure the tear to my meniscus doesn’t happen again. If I had to have another procedure- Hopefully I do not ever- I would make sure he is the one that is doing it.” – V.H.
“I cannot say enough about the positive experience I had with Dr. Rad and his team, Dr. Kirby and Rich in the Tarzana office. My knee was operated on when I was 14 for a dislocated patella which, over the decades became riddled with arthritis and old scar tissue. This made for some challenges when the need to replace my knee became unavoidable.
My surgery went well, despite the old-surgery challenges. My recovery was underwhelming! I was very diligent with my in-bed PT, in-home and out-patient therapy and by week 6 had over 100% mobility of the knee! It has now been 5 months and I’m climbing up stairs and working on slowly being able to go down stairs without taking them one at a time. 0 pain at all!
The extra care given to me by Dr. Rad was comforting and his kind and sincere bedside manner came with assurances of a remarkable recovery. They were supportive, PRESENT, encouraging, patient, humorous and very kind.
I have had multiple joint replacements and I have to say this was my best experience. THANK YOU, DR. RAD!!!!” – K.H.
